ANTI-INFLAMMATORY RELIEF FOR JOINT AND BURSITIS PAIN

Joint and Bursa Steroid Injections

Overview

Joint steroid injections (often called "cortisone shots") are minimally invasive, in-office procedures designed to deliver potent anti-inflammatory medication directly into a specific joint to reduce pain, swelling, and stiffness. These injections serve multiple purposes: reducing inflammation in the joint lining (synovitis) caused by conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gout, or bursitis; providing targeted pain relief to improve mobility and enable physical therapy; and serving as a diagnostic tool to confirm if the injected joint is the source of pain.
